Decorating the VIP Information table!
I was the one hosting and welcoming the VIP guests! We had various VIP guests attend our distribution ceremony, they even went ahead and joined in our distribution process. It was a very touching moment to see all of them distributing the relief goods to those who are in need.
Canada's GM group came and joined us for prayer time. Everyone put their hands together to pray for no more disasters in the world.
The Nepalese people are all very kind hearted and pure in their nature. The Buddha's nature is truly seen in each and everyone of them. After the distribution, to pay their highest respect to us, they all each covered us with a khada (cultural shawl) to return their sincere gratitude. I was very touched by this moment of heart to heart connection.
Thanks to all the local volunteers from Bungamati and Monkey Temple, today's distributions were a giant success! We all ended the distribution in song and dance.
Immediately after the two distribution was finished, Monica and I went straight over to another tent camp to evaluate how we were going to manage another large scale distribution for next week. The tent camp is called Chu Che Pati! We had a quick meeting with the site coordinator and got a name list from him. We will look over the name list and tomorrow will send our home visit team to go visit each tent family. There are a total of 896 tents and over 4,000 names. Everything needs to be typed out in Excel format, so wish us luck!!!! It is going to be a long night of typing!
I saw the big scale distribution on DaAi News, you guys are awesome to make it a very successful one. Great job done!
ReplyDeleteI was very happy to see my daughter's genuine smiling face in each pix. That is the pure joy from bottom of her heart when she is helping and benefiting others.
