Everyone is already expecting to watch Master's teachings every morning before starting to work!
Lunch was already picked up by the living/food team! How awesome are they? Everything is all well prepared and planned ahead of time! All the coordination is on point! Good job guys!
Aki is the main coordinator person for Global Karuna and we have been working closely with them on the 60 nuns living shelter project. Today, Aki came with another volunteer from Canada (Craig), and he is a professional photographer/videographer. He is helping Global Karuna with their relief footages. Craig also told me that he is normally mainly in charge of another on-line yoga group. How cool is that?
Just cutting metal....no big deal! XD
Everyday after work is wrapped up....we always have a group sharing session! It is so touching to hear each of their stories or something that they learned that day! Many of the participants have told us that it is great to have Tzu Chi, because Tzu Chi really does make them feel like family.
The overall view of the place!
This is going to be our last night at Yak & Yeti Hotel and the hotel manager was so nice that he had made special arrangements to have a special goodbye party in each of our rooms. What a great man!
Since the core team only has three members left now (Joe, Joe Junior, and I), we decided to have our own little motivational dinner gathering. So we went to one of the local cafes to have some traditional Nepali snacks.
Pani Puri is soooooooooooooooooo good! Pani Puri, also konwn as Gol Gappya, is a popular street snack from the Magadha region of India. It consists of a round, hollow puri, fried crisp and filled with a mixture of flavored water (pani), tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion and chickpeas. The taste is both tart and spicy, which is what I love. I have been waiting to try this traditional snack ever since I arrived here. Today was finally my chance! Success! Seconds please!
Wow.....look at all the yummy food!!!!!
Last night celebration! Thanks to Yak& Yeti for being so generous and kindhearted with Tzu Chi. Tomorrow is moving day!!!!
